WHAT IS NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION?
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a mandatory orientation program intentionally designed for you and your parents. The program will include information on academics, student activities, student organizations, career services, residential living, international programs and much more. College administrators, faculty, staff and upper-division students will be available throughout the program to answer your questions about college life. You can choose the NSO that best fits your schedule. The date for NSO is Saturday, January 7, 2012. All first time college students are required to attend NSO and will be charged a fee that includes meals and materials.Take Root!
WHY SHOULD I ATTEND NSO?
Studies have proven that college students who participate in orientation are much more likely to get involved and be successful in their academic pursuits. Because of this fact, we require any student that is new to Rochester College to attend NSO. Although parents are not required to attend we encourage attendance so that you and your parents can understand the opportunities and expectations together as you face your first year of college.Take Root!
